We’re very pleased and proud and slightly relieved to announce that Amy has finally agreed to make an honest man of Mike our service engineer. They celebrated their wedding at Rothley Court Hotel on Sunday 17th and were blessed by some glorious weather that was only topped by how beautiful Amy looked. Big congratulations from all the team at OPS.
After a record sales month in May the OPS team decided to spend a day out of work to unwind and bond a little. Unfortunately for some it was decided a hover crafting experience would be the ideal format. After learning the basics of getting the hover crafts to go in the general direction we were hoping for, it was decided we would have a competitive time trial. Although the rest of the team deny all knowledge of it, I’m suspicious of who’s idea it really was for the organiser to crouch down behind the craft and hang on to it when it was my turn ensuring that I came dead last. Thanks guys.
We are pleased to Welcome Tom Robertson-Ritchie to our growing team. Tom is our first apprentice and is settling in well and fast becoming a valued member of staff. He is working through a Level 2 Customer Service apprenticeship while performing a valuable role in the business. He is enjoying learning all aspects of the way we work here as well as the customer focused culture we have developed over the years.
Due to the size and layout of our new premises on Braunstone Trading Estate we are now in a position to offer our brand new Secure Document Storage Service. We have a complete floor of nearly 2,500 square feet that we have racked out and are offering a secure storage facility to our customers. We have been asked by a lot of our customers that use the equipment we supply and support to scan their documents and electronically index them, if we know where they can store the hard copies that they still need to store for the next six years or so. As we had no recommendation to offer we thought we would provide the service ourselves, which has been received very well. We collect and store the documents and also deliver any boxes back to you as and when they’re needed.
Despite a resounding declaration of “Never Again” after moving into our premises in Barrow upon Soar by Brian and the rest of the team, OPS are on the move again!
When Office Printing Solutions was formed in February 2007 we began trading from a rented office in Swan Street on Frog Island in Leicester. Over ten years later this seems a distant memory, as due to a controlled steady expansion plan and four locations later we now find ourselves in our new premises on Braunstone Trading Estate. This location was chosen due to its ideal access to the road networks and close proximity to Leicester city centre allowing us to improve slightly on our already impressive response times to the majority of our customers.
